HOPE VS NO CHOICE
Apparently we are heading to the general election few hours to come forth and many things still are not settled, for instance, whether is right to reside 200 meters away from the polling stations, or going back home and resume to your daily routine. The debate is in the court still no ultimatum reached till now. This year’s campaign have been hectic and chaotic both parties ruling and opposition  have played their role  in making the citizens aware of their good deeds done, and to be rendered to the people rich or poor, of all race and ethnicity background.  The nation has been divided in a great extent to the strong parties in the war to the office UKAWA vs. CCM is the headlines on the national wide media. People have been along with the candidate of the famous opposition block Edward lowassa throughout the nation in their enormous crowds, chanting and supporting, although there are many unanswered, not asked questions and clarity that has never been rendered even by a slight of good gesture in securing his morality and political legitimacy , CHANGES/MABADILIKO  they chant with so much hope/ no choice. The other block CCM has been having the same courtesy from its people whom it has been defying their trust, and constitutional rights for its sustenance in power. But things have changed the right person as they say and how history has been noted is delivered and brought hope to the party MAGUFULI FOR CHANGE, so the say. Its hope for CCM as he is different from his brothers and sisters who have induced pain to the nation for the past 54 years.
As Emily Dickinson says “hope Is the thing with feathers, that perches  into the soul and sings the tune without the words’’ , as tables turn the nation got a person whom they wished for and their souls being  given that tune hoping for the words to come by in the next 5 years. The people are split into hope or no choice, some say MAGUFULI is the hope as he legitimately correct,  though his party made the Tanzanians live a nightmare, a good number of them still hold tight th grip of hope in his will, determination and loyalty to hard work for the nations prosperity # HAPA  KAZI TU,  so as it is said. LOWASSA on the other hand former minister resigned from office due to a corruption scandal, came forth and made a huge change in political history in this decade, due to his courage and shift sides to the opposition, regardless of his alleged bad deeds he passed down to the nation. “No matter what he is the ticket to the salvation we have been waiting”, some say he is the redeemer, if a stone is placed on the voting paper I will cast my vote on its place, these are words uttered in daylight showing that, their candidate no matter how much immoral he is they have no choice but supporting him, giving him their outmost yes on paper on 25th  to head the most higher office in the nation, that’s not politics fit for us to head for cutting edge tech, accomplish SDG’S and fulfill  nyerere’s dream eradicating ignorance, diseases, corruption and poverty.
It is us who make wrong choices and who pay the mistakes with a very dear cost. They wont play with us if we stop show the we like being played, we wouldn’t be in this 50/50 situation,  hope or no choice scenario if we could have just asked questions , clarity and think.
